Hack head sportswriter Kirk Bohls article in today's Austin American-Statesman. File under "backhanded compliments".

Has Texas A&M become the Big 12's new Baylor?

COLLEGE STATION — Texas A&M's football program is once again at a crossroads, even if some are wondering whether the Aggies can even see that intersection from where they sit.

The painful questions are as obvious as the shine on a Corps of Cadet member's low-quarter shoes.

Is Texas A&M the new Baylor?

Those familiar with Kirk Bohls will immediately recognize his work, very similar to that left by feral hogs around a corn feeder. He's a hack in the worse sense of the word; a small minded ass, retained because he'll work for measly wages and ooze forth pap for the doofus segment of Longhorn Nation. He has no talent, has never uttered an original thought, and relies on writers of the same ilk who have somehow caught on with larger papers (see Justice, Richard). A miserable, tiny dicked weasel and I compliment him by giving him that much credit.

Come on now, don't beat around the bush. What do you really think of the guy?

Aggie defensive coordinator Joe Kines was mentioned in the Bohls piece. Last week, Kines was asked about the awful year on defense that A&M (and Kines) are having. He said his upbringing was good prepartion in that he slept in the same bed with his brother all the way through high school with his grandmother sleeping in the same room. "I didn't sleep in bed by myself until after I got married," he said.

In the words of the underappreciated publisher Bob Guccionne who would go on tv and utter the phrase, "Responsible journalism: Penthouse Magazine," with a straight face, I accordingly contrast that with, "Irresponsible journalism: The AAS."

It is not out of the realm for Aggie to win this damned game, as crazy as that sounds. Texas should be sky high for it, but when you read $hit like that it makes you want to stick your thumb up someone's a$$. Well, Kirk's, anyway.
