Why, just the other day one of Obama's old Illinois political running buddies, when asked about doing a political favor for the man, had this rousing bit of support for the president-elect “ (I'm supposed to) suck it up . . . and give this motherfucker [the President-elect]] his senator. I read the story of this yesterday in the Austin American Statesman. There was one (1) mention of the guy being "Democratic" and not another hint of the word throughout the article--in fact it only appeared once on the back page. Had this been a dreaded R, you would have seen the word splashed around like there was no manana.
