Pigs fly...

...and I agree with something that Thomas Friedman wrote:

I think that he calls out the Arab world pretty well, something that needs to be done with regularity.

I read that yesterday and thought the exact same thing. I just didn't want to admit it...

I thought he expressed about as well as anyone I've read my frustration with the muslim community here and abroad. They sit silent whenever some new outrage is commited in the name of Islam. If they want to live here and enjoy the benefits of our free society, it should morally obligate them to speak out against those that commit the acts and actively work to change what is being taught and believed by their communities. ACTIVELY. Essentially, I'm tired of muslims, can't stand their religion, and think it's high time they evolve as a people into something more than a repository of boy rape fanatics.

Actually, the Muslim monotheistic religious world view as expressed in the Koran is pretty similar to Christianity. The problems result from the modern day religious leaders using "Allah" as justification for personal power and enrichment. They have successfully convinced the bourgeoisie that the western world has caused their miserable lot in life. Doing so maintains their power base and standard of living. The poor working stiffs have neither the education or opportunity to see the real cause of the problem.
