One day these helpful "fun facts" will be a thing of the past but we've been living with them for a long time. From the Austin American Statesman article on the Baylor - A&M game:

http://www.statesman.com/sports/content/sports/stories/other/11/16/1116aggies.html

They notched their first victory over a Big 12 South team since 2005 over Oklahoma State — the only other time they finished out of the basement.

It was just their fourth victory against a South team in the league's 13-year history.

It's kinda like heart-stopping, scream-inducing sex after a first date...you certainly don't expect it every time, and you know the odds against it happening at all are mighty high. That doesn't stop you from enjoying it when it does happen, nor from bragging about it to anyboyd who will listen.

Nimdok, that's just a damned fine comparison, if I must say so, though I hate paying Mr. "I didn't study" boy any compliment.

Whether intended or not, your comparison invokes memories of some rather unnecessary and completely over the top "noise" coming from Jeff Potter's bedroom in year four of our Baylor spectacle.

Thanks for that!

All that aside, FUCK the Austin UnAmerican Statesman (aka Pravda) and its opinions of the Baylor football heritage!

{Previous remark made on behalf of the entire Baylor family}

That was actually a pretty good read compared to the DMN and HC.
